Your Max Benjamin candle is made with 100% natural wax, lead-free wicks and contains essential and fragrance oils which all make it unique. Your candle needs a little TLC to get the most from it.

A few tips:

•  When lighting your candle for the first time, always let it burn until the first layer of wax is fully melted and the pool of wax reaches the glass. This will ensure a more even burn.

• Keep the wick trimmed to the length it was when new.

• Do not burn for more than four hours at a time.

• When the candle is lit do not touch the glass, leave it unattended in a draught or near any fabrics, curtains or flammable objects.

Our scented candle weighs approx. 210g. Our 3 wick candle weighs approx. 560g. All weights are on the packaging.

Our candles are made using 100% soy container candle wax. The sourcing is from a US soy crop, so no deforestation involved as it is long term managed agricultural land. 

Natural wax can burn for longer than paraffin wax. You should get a minimum of 40 hours from your Max Benjamin candle.

Our candles use 100% natural wax so we would always recommend burning your candle within 24 months of purchasing to get the best quality burn time.

Our natural waxes are biodegradable and are renewable, sustainable resources. When you light a Max Benjamin 100% natural wax candle you can enjoy the unique atmosphere each fragrance brings without feeling you are causing harm to the environment. Our wax burns cleaner than paraffin wax with no petrol-carbon soot. Our wax burns slowly and is free from pesticides and any genetically modified material.

Our wicks are made from natural Italian cotton and are free of lead.

Diffusers are fantastic for giving a constant, controlled fragrance in a room

Place all reeds in your diffuser to fill your room with fragrance.

Our diffusers will last for up to 4 to 5 months and when it’s time you can simply re-use your vessel and refill it with our best selling diffuser refills; available in all our Classic fragrances.

Our reeds are made using cotton fibre for our classic collection and rattan for our decorative collections.

At Max Benjamin we love a refill and so here’s a few pointers to ensure you will love them too. Every sustainable step is a good one.

Diffuser refill

Simply remove the old reeds from your vessel and fill it up with the full contents of your refill bottle. You will receive a fresh set of reeds with your new Max Benjamin diffuser refill. Add all 12 fresh new reeds, sit back and enjoy as the fragrance oil is absorbed and begins to diffuse. Please allow up to 24 hours for the fragrance to fully diffuse.

Our diffusers, and diffuser refills, will last up to 4 or 5 months.

Car Fragrance Refill

Remove your old fragrance refill disc and simply replace it with the new one by aligning the 3 ridges into the dispenser holder. 

These little cards are suitable to use in small spaces like your handbag, wardrobe, drawers, suitcase or car.
